What to do with all you left over fabrics.

Steps:
Gather all your old scraps of fabric. Cut them into 1 inch strips with pinking shears

Using a zig zag stitch on your sewing machine, sew all your scraps together. This will take a while. You can also sew the strips together by hand if you so choose. Just make sure the stitch is tight so it won't pull loose later.

Once you have sewed everything together, wind it into a ball. It makes things easier for everyone

I used a 12" long plastic crochet needle. To start, make a chain to the length that you want you project to be. Once it is long enough, single crochet back into each chain stitch, skipping the first one. As your project becomes longer, you will need add 2 single crochets into each stitch in the corners so it does not start to roll up.

Make your project as big or small as you want! You can make coasters, table runners, pot holders, rugs, or even a car cover.

Car cover not recommended.

A Short Story of Discovery, Love...and DEATH or The Perturbed Canary

Once upon a time, there was Canary.  Though unjustly named, he let a mostly wonderful life.  Once day, he was discovered, in every sense of the word.

But what do you do with it?

And time passes...

...and she changed her mind.

Now we shall be best friends forever! (montage)

Oh, you are SO funny...whatever you are!

Goodnight.

A little later...

Wake UP! Time for a snack! where did you go?

 OH NO!

But she had gone to far.  Her seemingly appropriate reaction to canary's fecal blunder caused an uproar.  Canary sent other ceramics crashing on the hardwood floor and squawked loud bird-like obscenities.  She had no idea of the grave mistake she had made.

Canary went to a dark place...

She couldn't see a change in Canary's shiny glass eyes.

But in that moment, Canary changed.

Dun, dun DUUUUUUUH!
